Career Goal
An Information Technology Manager for a services-oriented organization.

Rationale: Information Technology is set to be the engine of the present and future technology environment. I have an interest in being part of the creative process of developing networked systems for a service-oriented organization in order to extend my service beyond personal gain but to the gain of society at large especially in Africa.

Education
I graduated with a computer science degree from Daystar University. This course of study will prepare me for immediate work in the Information Technology field. I am also experienced in database application development and Website development and have also had an experience with PABX management from my internship.

My specialization in I.T network development has given me the basic knowledge to quickly integrate into a new I.T. job environment. I.T network development has introduced me to knowledge of I.T fundamentals, and Network fundamentals.

Internships

From May to July of 2003, I interned at Smoothtel and Data Solution in the network solutions department. Responsibilities included drawing network topologies, working directly with customers on Network Projects, and assisting in project management tasks. I was exposed to all aspects of network development and administration, including structured cabling, network server installation and configuration, network maintenance and computer assembly.
